Upholstery, Rebuilt carburetor, Heater connected up and working, Quietpack exhaust , Battery, New window seals for all six pop-out windows, Sound deadening material around engine bay, Put on KYB gas adjust shocks up front – the stock ones were a bit soft for the lowered spindle front end. Better handling, not as plush a ride. (Still have the sachs oil-filled too). , Conversion to doghouse oil cooler with chrome fan shroud (drove it through Phoenix to LA in 115 degree weather and it did awesome) , Clutch cable and hook at pedal, Replaced all (4) bearings in the passenger side reduction box, New transaxle nose cone with seal to stop oil leak, Headlight switch, Coated cargo hold with truck bed liner below the carpet (better for wear and protects from rust – have before and after pictures)(boy that stuff is stinky) , Steering gear box (rebuilt unit from Bus Bros) , Oil filled shocks all around, New tires, H4 halogen headlights, Brake master cylinder (and brake shoes, slaves as needed) , Seat belts all through the back (how many vehicles can you find with 8 seatbelts?) And of course the little things like the occasional wheel bearing, door swing bumpers and stop strap, hold open window latch (hooray for Wolfsburg West) axle boots etc. This has been a car for my wife and kids so we take it seriously. The engine was put in by the previous owner (have their receipts). We swapped out the camshaft and it runs smooth and consistent.
